Historic townhouse in Genoa

This historic two-room apartment in Genoa's old town underwent a complete renovation of the kitchen and bathroom, as well as extensive renovation and restoration of the apartment's surfaces. The approximately 570-year-old building was built in compliance with conservation regulations, and the original architectural structures of the house were revealed by demolishing the 20th-century structures. The original era of the building was respected by choosing local traditional materials, such as marble, slate and wrought iron, and by revealing frescoes painted on the ceiling under centuries-old layers of paint.
